What size businesses do you work with?
We specialise in small to large New Zealand businesses, from sole traders and contractors through to growing companies, trusts, charitable organisations and everything in between.
Do you offer fixed monthly pricing?
Yes. Our monthly packages include everything you need with no hidden costs. Your Xero subscription is included, and you can call, text or email us anytime.
Can you help me set up a new business?
Yes. We can register your company, set up Xero, help you understand tax obligations, and guide you through GST, payroll, forecasting and compliance from day one.
When do I need to register for GST?
GST registration becomes compulsory once your turnover exceeds $60,000 dollars in any 12 month period, or if you expect it to. We can help you assess this and get set up correctly.
What is included in your tax management service?
We handle reminders, deadlines, planning for tax payments and preparing your returns on time, so you stay compliant without stress. Uniquely, we also include the cost of your Xero subscriptions.
How often do you file GST returns?
Most clients file every two months, though some choose monthly or six monthly. We prepare and file all GST returns accurately and on schedule.
What support can I expect throughout the year?
Unlimited support. You can contact us anytime by phone, email or text. There are no extra charges for asking questions or seeking advice.
Can you work with businesses outside Tauranga?
Yes. We work with clients across all of New Zealand using digital systems, Xero, Zoom and secure online document sharing.
Do you help with payroll and PAYE?
Yes. We can set up and manage payroll, handle payday filing, ensure PAYE is correct and keep your staff paid accurately and on time.
How do I switch to Town and Country Accountants?
Switching is easy. We contact your current accountant, manage the full handover and transfer everything securely. You simply complete our onboarding form and we take care of the rest.
